Dean/Professor William J. Lewis earned a bachelors degree and two masters degrees from California State University, Long Beach, as well as a Juris Doctorate with honors from PCU, where he was valedictorian of his class. Originally a Physiologist, Prof. Lewis worked in a variety of scientific and technological capacities for St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, including elevation to a directorial post with the Long Beach Paramedic Program. Prof. Lewis currently heads a twenty-six attorney law firm in Santa Ana. He taught Remedies, Real Property, Professional Responsibility and Legal Analysis, Research & Lawyering Skills for thirteen years before being elevated to the position of Dean of Pacific Coast University in October of 1999. Dean Lewis continues to teach these subjects at the University.

 

Assistant Dean/Professor Andrea Leigh Lua holds a B.A. in History and Social Sciences from the University of Southern california, where she was awarded many honors. Her Juris Doctor degree is from PCU, where she was Valedictorian of her class. She is a Felony Trial Attorney currently assigned to Norwalk Superior court for the Los Angeles County Public Defender. She teaches Criminal Law and Essentials of Legal Writing.

 
 

Vice Dean/Professor Charles Hicks Jr. earned his B.S. degree from Edison State university, New Jersey. His Juris Doctor degree is from Pacific Coast University. He is a sole practitioner in Los Alamitos practicing in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Aviation. He teaches community Property and Wills and Trusts, Business Associations.

 
 

Assistant Professor William Bernard earned his B.A. degree from California State University, Long Beach. His Juris Doctor is from Western state University-College of Law, where he received the Presidents Scholarship Award. He spent two years as a deputy District Attorney for the county of Orange. He spent 13 years in private practice as associate in the area of civil rights litigation, becoming a partner in 2001 until the present. He teaches criminal Law and the essentials of Legal Writing.

 
 

Assistant Professor Robert Bir earned his B.A. degree from the University of Dayton. His Juris doctor degree is from Western State university-College of Law. He has been a sole practitioner for twelve years in Orange county. He is currently a staff counsel for State Fund. He has taught at various schools of law for more than ten years. He teaches torts.

 
 

Assistant Professor Rondee Eagle earned her Juris Doctor degree at Pacific Coast University, School of Law. She has owned and operated a court Reporting Agency for 17 years. She is currently a partner in a Criminal Defense firm. She has taught Pleading and Practice and is currently teaching Contracts.

 

Assistant Professor Johan A.
El-Farra
did his undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned his B.A. degree in Political Science. His Juris Doctor is from Southwestern University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. He has worked for the Los Angeles County Public Defenders Office for ten years. He is qualified to litigate capital cases and has tried over 70 felony and misdemeanor jury trials. He teaches trial techniques.

 

Assistant Professor William T. Garner is a retired Judge of the Superior court in Long Beach where he served for 5 years, as well as a Municipal court Judge for 7 years. He earned his B.A. degree from The State University of New York, as well as a master's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at Pacific coast University. Prior to taking the bench, Professor Garner was in private practice (solo and as partner) for 27 years. He teaches Evidence, Constitutional Law and Trial Techniques.

 
 

Assistant Professor Peter Michael Lee earned his B.S. degree from the California University State University Long Beach. His Juris Doctor degree is from Pacific Coast University School of Law, and was the class Valedictorian. In the early 90s he was an associate Attorney in the Law Office of Randy Johnson. He has taught at various schools of law for more than ten years. He teaches Business Associations and Civil Procedures.

 
 

Assistant Professor Barbara Mcdaniel earned an B.S. from City College of New York. Her juris Doctor degree is from Western State College of Law. She has spent over twelve years in the Los Angeles County Public Defenders Office, serving as a Deputy Alternate Public Defender. She is experienced in adult and juvenile trial work and appellate practice. She teaches Evidence.

 
 

Assistant Professor Jennifer McDonald earned an A.B. from Smith College. Her Juris Doctor degree is from Loyola University School of Law. She has spent over thirteen years in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a Prosecutor. She is experienced in adult and juvenile trial work and appellate practice. She teaches Evidence.

 
 

Assistant Professor Richard Rosas earned his B.A. degree from the University of California, Irvine. His Juris Doctor degree is from Western State University-College of Law. He has been with State Fund since 1991 and is currently a staff counsel specialist. Prior to State Fund, he was in a private civil practice. He teaches Contracts, Jurisprdence, and Legal History.

 
 

Assistant Professor Ron W. Saxman earned his B.A. degree from California State University, Northridge, where he later taught Economics. His Juris Doctor degree is from the University of West Los Angeles, and he has practiced family law for over sixteen years, currently as a senior partner in the firm of Blevans, Greenberg, Yare and Saxman. He is a certified family law specialist and a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar, and the Beverly Hills Bar. He frequently lectures to lawyers and other groups in the area of his specialty. He teaches Community Property.
